District B Meeting Results
Last night, 120 co-op members attended the District B meeting. The winner of our $250 Luck of the Draw Scholarship was Jordan Potter of Pickford High School. Vern Dumback of Sault Ste. Marie was the lucky winner of the $100 grand prize. Incumbent Director Frank Taletino was re-elected for another 3-year term of office. 5/01/08

District A Meeting Draws Crowd
Last night, over 100 co-op members attended the District A meeting in Cedarville! The winner of our $250 Luck of the Draw Scholarship was Kyle Tominac of DeTour High School. Dolores Bender of Goetzville was the lucky winner of the $100 grand prize. Incumbent Director Jerry Nettleton of DeTour was re-elected to the board of directors for a 3-year term. 4/30/08

Attend Your District Meeting
Cloverland Electric Cooperative will hold its annual district membership meetings in the following locations: District A- Tuesday, April 29 (Clark Township Community Center-Cedarville), District B- Wednesday, April 30 (Dafter Towship Hall-Dafter), and District C- Thursday, May 1 (Bethlehem Luthern Church-Engadine). Member registration begins at 6:00 p.m. followed by the meeting and program at 7:00 p.m. If you are unsure of your membership district, please call our office at 1-800-562-4953. Evening festivities include free blood pressure checks, vendor displays, $100 grand prize, giveways, cash prizes, $250 "Luck of the Draw" scholarship, food, music, and special entertainment by ventriloquist, Barbara Jean! 3/31/08

Right-of-Way Maintenance Scheduled
We have contracted with Tree's, Inc. to perform right-of-way maintenance in the all or portions of the following locations: Soo, Sugar Island, Superior, Bruce, and Bay Mills Townships. They will begin re-clearing areas along primary distribution lines in mid May. This work is necessary to ensure that our member-owners have reliable electric service. Summer Pole Testing Planned
American Energy Services of Richmond, Michigan will inspect approximately 4,000 poles in the Goetzville, Sault Ste. Marie and Sugar Island areas during August and September of this year. 3/31/08
