A fall storm with strong winds, snow and rain combined with heavy foliage on trees led to fluctuating power outages across Cloverland’s five county service territory. Outages began at 12:03 AM on Tuesday, October 18 and continued climbing into the early afternoon. At its peak Tuesday morning, outages numbered around 3,000 across 17 townships. Crews from all five cooperative divisions are actively working on restoration efforts. Strong winds are expected into Tuesday evening. Power outages will likely fluctuate. Cloverland will provide restoration updates at 2 PM, 6 PM and 10 PM on cloverland.com and through its Facebook page.
