Cloverland Electric Cooperative (CEC) invites qualified contractors to submit bids for snow removal, plowing, salting, and sanding services at the facilities and service areas identified in this RFB. The selected contractor or contractors will furnish all equipment, materials, labor, supervision, transportation, and incidentals necessary to perform the work.
CEC may award work by individual service area, combine service areas, or make no award when doing so is in CEC’s best interest. Submission of a bid does not obligate CEC to enter into an agreement or reimburse any bidder expense.

• Provide snow clearing for parking lots, driveways, access roads, pole yards, substations, generation facilities, warehouses, office complexes, and other listed areas.
• Shovel and clear snow from all building entrances, entry doors, and immediate entrance walkways at each listed location, keeping entrances accessible and unobstructed.
• Provide salting and/or sanding where listed or requested to maintain public and operational areas in a hazard-reduced condition.
• Provide service before 7:00 a.m. at designated office, warehouse, plant, driveway, back-lot, and pole-yard locations.
• Return for additional clearing, salting, or sanding more than once per day when conditions warrant or when requested by CEC.
• Protect buildings, fences, gates, curbs, signs, utility equipment, and other property. Promptly report any damage or unsafe condition.
• Coordinate snow placement so that access, visibility, drainage, emergency routes, doors, gates, and equipment are not obstructed.
