Results of RDOF Broadband Auction

Broadband statement – December 8, 2020

Results of the Rural Digital Opportunity Fund (RDOF) auction process have been made public by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Cloverland Electric Cooperative submitted a short-form application. However, we were not awarded funding. As a not-for-profit, member-owned utility, Cloverland Electric Cooperative continues to focus first and foremost on our mission to deliver exceptional services through the generation and safe delivery of reliable and affordable energy solutions that encourage growth, foster innovation and strengthen the communities we serve. We will continue to work with all parties involved to support broadband initiatives in the Eastern Upper Peninsula.

Per FCC regulations, the auction process is still in its quiet period so additional details cannot be shared at this time. We look forward to sharing more information with our members when we are permitted.
