Street Lighting

Street lighting is available to municipalities and political subdivisions for street lighting service, with the condition that said municipalities become cooperative members. Street lighting is dusk-to-dawn exterior lighting controlled by photo-sensitive devices every night and all night for approximately 4,200 hours per year.

As a member-owner of Cloverland Electric Cooperative, I understand and agree to the following conditions of service:

1. I am liable for the payments under this agreement. I will be required to pay the balance of the monthly fees if I cancel this agreement; unless a new member moving onto the property agrees to honor this agreement.

2. The cooperative will own, operate, maintain and repair the lighting fixture. It is my responsibility to notify the cooperative if the lighting fixture is in need of repair. The cooperative will make repairs during regular working hours.

3. Lighting fixtures damaged by accident or vandalism will be repaired or replaced at your expense.

4. I will be required to pay an upfront light fixture fee.

5. The monthly rate is subject to Michigan sales tax, Power Supply Cost Recovery Factor, Energy Optimization Surcharge, and any MPSC approved rate changes.
