District C Candidate
Thank you. It has been an honor and privilege to have represented and served you for the past nine years.
I am a veteran, born and raised in Manistique. I have been married to Judy (Gorsche) for 60 years. I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the board room having worked for decades as an industrial electrician/supervisor for Inland Lime and Stone. When the plant sold, I worked as general electrical foreman to wire and computerize a “state of the art” crushing facility, now one of the largest on the Great Lakes. Carmeuse Port Inland now operates this plant and is Cloverland’s second-largest user of electrical energy.
I have been a director on the board for Limestone Federal Credit Union for over 30 years where I currently serve as chairperson. I have successfully completed all credentialed cooperative director (CCD) courses for Cloverland as well as earning my board leadership certificate. These courses are designed to ensure that board members develop the knowledge and skills required to meet the challenges of today’s increasingly complex utility marketplace. I continue to remain focused on powering our communities and empowering our members/owners through the delivery of safe, reliable, and affordable electrical energy, while protecting the beautiful environment of the Eastern Upper Peninsula.
I am ready to actively commit my time, knowledge, and experience to see that you, the member/owner receive the exceptional service that you deserve. I ask for your continued support. Thank you.
