District B Candidate - unopposed
I am a lifelong Sault Ste. Marie resident, Educated at LSSU. My wife and I were in business for 36 years and although I no longer run the day to days affairs of the business. I do stay active running errands and such. I have a lot of pride in the success my sons bring to the business we founded.
It has been my honor and a privilege to serve you as your Director. Membership concerns is my primary function. We as a board had challenges since my tenure on our board.
Our first challenge as a board was Transparency. We now have open and published meetings.
Getting our fiscal house in order was paramount, after much work, we now are enjoying a 30+ percent equity position compared to our 12 percent at the start. We now pay Capital Credits to our membership and have better terms with the lenders.
Our greatest accomplishment was the hiring of Mike Heise. A world class leader as our CEO and watching him develop a first class management team to compliment our professional staff and field personnel.
It has been a real joy watching Cloverland grow and develop. Cloverland as a team has a very bright future.
